Rigi this and Rigi that , our day trip from Lucerne where we hiked down the wonderfully named mountain called Mt.Rigi. We took the cogwheel train, which are basically mountain trains that take you to the peak ( in our case from Arth Goldau to Rigi Kulm) and then we hiked our way down to Rigi Scheidegg which took about 4 hours including taking the cliff walk and pit stops to fuel ourselves! Having gotten in misty and cloudy weather the previous day, we were excited to finally get a look of the most photographed mountain in the world and it didn't disappoint! Another day and another stunning train ride. We did the full 8 hour trip from St.Moritz to Zermatt onboard the Glacier Express today. It was a misty and rainy day and it added a different kind of magical feel to the trip. We just sat back and relaxed and saw nature do its thing.
